Frequently Asked Questions

  • As of February 2024, I typically price stained glass at around $3.00 per square inch.

However, the price per square inch can vary project to project because the price of glass varies significantly with each color and texture. For example, a version that uses premium glass or features more red/pink/orange glass will cost more because the cost of the glass required to make the final product costs more.

  • Sometimes! It really depends on the situation.

As an artist I strongly prefer collaborations over giving someone blanket access to reproduce my designs.

So, for example, if you see one of my ladies and think it would work great as a part of mural your working on or you want to sell some shirts based on a pattern just shoot me an email and we can talk pricing based on the scope and the intent for income you plan to make using the design!

All that being said, I really want people to use my patterns to grow, to create conversations in the glass community, and to gift to people they love. I’m not interested in stopping fellow glass artists from exploring or creating something more personal for someone they love by adding their own touches to one of my patterns. I just want to make a living and be proud of my own designs.

  • As we all know, glass is fragile.

My shipping prices reflect the cost of postage + quality packaging + shipping insurance.

I can’t control how gentle a mail carrier is with a package, but I can make sure there is little opportunity for your order to be damaged in transit & that I have the resources to fix it if something goes wrong.

  • Janet is half Italian greyhound & half pittbull terrier (the greyhound accounts for how small she is compared to most pitts).

As of January 2024, she’s 7-8ish years old; I don’t know how old she was when I adopted her (6 years ago) so this is a best guess!

  • I promise it’s not spam! You’ll hear from me maybe 10 times a year.

When you sign up for the newsletter you get a few perks like:

    • Early access to all ready-to-ship drops

    • Occasional special discounts

    • Extra Janet spam at the end of each email (& that’s a guarantee)

There’s no point in hiding the fact that the newsletter is super beneficial to me, too—especially as I plan & protect my business. Firstly, it gives me a backup way to reach my audience if the social media gods ever lock me out. But more importantly, it allows me to better track engagement and ultimately provide you with better products, systems, & content.

  • There are a few things at play here, but basically, it all comes down to the fact that stained glass is an incredibly labor intensive process. Each piece takes a minimum of 10 hours of work to complete. Multiply that by just a couple of orders and I quickly run out of time in the day/week/whatever.

So, I try my best to be realistic with timelines when I post them—but I’m only human. I believe in balance, in rest, & that shit happens.

I’m incredibly thankful that I get to do glasswork full time & I want to make sure I can continue this craft as long as possible. So, I reserve the right to push deadlines, take breaks, an prioritize my health & family whenever I need to.
